CDB pledges $20 million USD loan to Uzbekistan National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity for on-lending to SMEs In May 2006, China Development Bank (CDB) signed a framework agreement for a $20 million USD loan to the Uzbekistan National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU) for for on-lending to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The funds were supposed to be disbursed over a 9-year period.
