China EXIM Pledges $1B USD Credit Line to India ICICI Bank On September 18, 2014, the Export-Import Bank of China signed a framework agreement with India's ICICI Bank to extend a $1 billion line of credit. This agreement was signed during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to India.

The Line of Credit will be utilized for projects involving imports of Chinese raw materials, energy, equipment, mechanical and electronic products, complete sets of equipment, high and new tech products, energy projects, infrastructure and construction projects and any other projects mutually agreed by the two banks.
