Grant Description

On September 14, 2010, during the fifth China-Moldova Economic and Trade Cooperation Committee, the Chinese Government and the Government of Moldova signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 20 million of grant funding for various purposes. $500,000 of the grant proceeds were earmarked to support a set of disaster response and recovery activities after flooding in July 2010 (see Record ID#73191).

However, it is not clear how the remaining ETCA funds were allocated.

According to the Government of Moldova’s External Assistance Management Platform (PGAE), the RMB 20 million (EUR 2,308,000) grant was fully disbursed as of September 13, 2012.
