Federal Trade Commission (FTC) assistance to foreign consumer protection and privacy agencies aimed at building a foundation for strong cooperative relationships between the FTC and newer consumer protection agencies with an eye to building the capacity of those agencies to serve as effective civil law enforcement partners in the fight against cross-border fraud, with the secondary goal of promoting a common vision of sound consumer policy.
