Grant Description

Chinese government pledges 65.4m concessional loan to implement Agriculture Development Plan In 2006, a $US 65.4 million concessional loan from China to the Government of Papua New Guinea, to develop and implement the National Agriculture Development Plan and drawn down in 2007 and repaid over a 15–20-year period, reached a concept project proposal document stage.

PNG government documents from 2006 list a potential for donor involvement through technical assistance. However, PNG Government documents from 2011 only list World Bank funding. Later PNG government documents from 2013 also do not list China as a donor for this project.
