Grant Description

On December 29, 2006, Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Civil Affairs Minister, Safet Halilovic, and the Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Li Shuyuan, signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 30 million RMB (6 million Bosnian Marks or $3.6 million) of grant funding.

Some of the grant proceeds were earmarked for the construction of the Novi Grad secondary school in Sarajevo, while the rest of the proceeds were to be used for the financing of other projects (that the parties would agree upon on a future date).
