Grant Description

In 2008 the Chinese government granted 300,000 NZD (approx. 200,000 USD) to fund housing re-roofing after materials containing asbestos were stripped away from houses in Niue. According to page 20 of "China in the Pacific," as of 2011 the project had been marked as completed.
