Kayemor Millet Production and Capacity Building Project

Crops: millet and vegetables.Beneficiaries: 705 producers, 105 women..The network's objective is to control the production and marketing of millet in a concerted manner to ensure self-sufficiency and food security by facilitating access to credit and quality inputs on time for all its members; by facilitating access to equipment, the market and contractualisation for the marketing of production; by representing members in dealings with the administrative authorities and partners.

The organization has a large number of members, not all of whom have access to inputs and monitoring due to a lack of means and financial resources.

This grant will enable the organization to solve the problem of seed production in quantity and access to inputs for all members; solve the problem of field agent mobility; build capacity and solve the problem of managing the quality of millet marketed. All this to achieve improved quality production at competitive prices.

In this way, all members will flourish.
