Grant Description

On July 18th, 2011, China and Azerbaijan signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), according to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This occurred during the fourth meeting of the China-Azerbaijan trade and economic cooperation intergovernmental Commission The Chinese government pledged to provide a grant to Azerbaijan of 60 million yuan, or about 7.5 million manats. The agreement was ratified by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan at the end of December.
