Grant Description

On March 5, 2002, the Chinese Government pledged to provide RMB 5 million of technical assistance to the Government of Armenia.

Representatives from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this pledge during a meeting with Armenia's Foreign Deputy Minister, Tatul Markaryan.

However, it did not mention the specific RMB 5 million assistance that was stated on the Factiva. There is no information related to the RMB 5 million assistance on the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Parliament Library of Armenia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, or the Ministry of Technology of China.
