Grant Description

Sector: Expansion of a maize value chain.Beneficiaries: Direct and indirect beneficiaries will include Mpui farmers and those enterprises supplying inputs and those buying maize and related by-products..Description: The project entails scaling-up of a successful maize OAG.

The expansion entails increased production of high quality maize, increase in farmers incomes and sales revenue for the AMCOS.

The expansion will also count on the success to diversify into new value chains including the promotion of a sunflower through the CRAFT Project.
