Grant Description

On January 13, 2001, the Vice President of China, Hu Jintao, and Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Jawad Hadid, signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 10,000,000 (approximately $1.25 million) of grant funding for unspecified purposes.

According to the agreement, the funds would be allocated and disbursed after the signing of a formal exchange of letters by the two governments.
