Grant Description

On December 4, 2007 the People's Republic of China and the Union of Comoros signed an economic and technical agreement (ETCA) for aid amounting to 25 million RMB.

The action is aimed at 'further developing friendship and economic cooperation relations between the two countries.' The Comoran side was represented by Justice Minister and Keeper of the Seals Mourad Said Ibrahim, while China was represented by Ambassador Tao Weiguang.

The administrative document signed between the two parties did not specify the kind of projects which will be financed by the aid package. The aid package is a result of talks between President Sambi and his Chinese colleague.
