Grant Description

In March 2005, Chinese oil company CNPC-Aktobemunaygaz (the Kazakh subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, CNPC) and the administration of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan signed a new memorandum on mutual cooperation.

The document was signed by Mayor of Aktobe region Yeleusin Sagindikov and chairman of the board of directors "CNPC - Aktobe "Wang Dongjin.

The oil company promises to allocate $ 1 million USD for the reconstruction of water mains in the working village of Kenkiyak and funds for the development of culture, education, sport and health of the region. The same company provided another $300,000 USD to Aktobe region (see Record ID#40705).
