Grant Description
[Umbrella project] China Eximbank provides $500 million general loan agreement for multiple projects On May 31, 2006, the Mongolian Parliament provided in-principle approval to the Ministry of Finance to borrow $500 million from China Eximbank.
Then, on June 16, 2011, China Eximbank and the Government of Mongolia signed a general loan agreement regarding the utilization of a $500 million preferential buyer's credit (PBC) for various projects.
The projects that were to be financed under the general loan agreement included: Sonsgolong Bridge and Bayanzurkh Bridge Construction Project (captured in Record ID#72304) Yarmag New Bridge Construction and Old Bridge Renovation Project (captured in Record ID#72020) Phase 1 of the Agricultural Machinery Equipment Acquisition Project (captured in Record ID#73192) Phase 2 of the Agricultural Machinery Equipment Acquisition Project (captured in Record ID#47040) E-Health Project (captured in Record ID#47032) New Century Education Project (captured in Record ID#47034)
