Grant Description

On Apr. 7, 2011, China's Minister of Commerce Chen Deming and Kyrgyz First Vice Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov signed the agreement between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and China on technical and economic cooperation on April 6, reported the government's press service.

Under this agreement the Government of China would provide 30 million yuan grant (216.8 million som) to Kyrgyzstan, which would be spent for implementation of technical and economic projects.

Construction of railway, power export, construction of Datka substation, Datka-Kemin power transmission line, creation of Kyrgyz-Chinese Investment Fund, tractor supplies were reviewed at the meeting.
