Grant Description

Sometime before September 28, 2006, China agreed to construct a National Cultural Complex in St Lucia. On April 25, 2007, St. Lucia announced that it was renewing diplomatic ties with Taiwan.

This was followed by an announcement by the Chinese government that they no longer planned on honoring various commitments, including the cultural complex.
