Grant Description
Chinese government provides RMB 30 million interest-free loan for the acquisition and installation of household gas meters in Uzbekistan On April 11, 2001, the Chinese Government signed an RMB 30 million interest-free loan agreement with the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan for the acquisition and installation of household gas meters.
The National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan then used the proceeds from this loan to on-lend (through a subsidiary loan agreement) to the Boskommungaz Enterprise («Бошкоммунгаз» агентства) of the Uzkommunkhizmat Agency («Узкоммунхизмат»).
