Grant Description

On January 31, 2005, the Chinese Government and the Government of Trinidad and Tobago signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) in which the Chinese Government committed RMB 10 million in grant funding to Trinidad and Tobago.

The grant was approved by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for the provision of physical education and other sporting equipment to primary and secondary schools; tertiary level institutions and community centers.

While it is clear that the grant was received, no explicit confirmation of delivery to schools and community centers was found.
