Grant Description

On March 5, 2014, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai and Secretary of Nepal's Finance Ministry Shanta Raj Subedi signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) through which China agreed to provide grant assistance worth RMB 120,000,000 (approximately USD 19.5 million or NPR 1.92 billion) to the Government of Nepal.

The grant assistance would facilitate the provision of goods and materials to be agreed upon by the two governments. It is unknown whether or not the grant ultimately disbursed.
