Grant Description

In December 2014, China agreed to provide technology to help agricultural development in Thailand.

Under the agreement, China’s satellite navigation system will be used for geospatial disaster monitoring, assessment and forecasting in Thailand. The agreement is meant to facilitate the development of the Thai Geospatial Information Industry Park. The financial value and nature of Chinese funding of this project are unknown.
