Grant Description

On January 9, 2009, Chinese and Tongan officials signed an agreement for the provision of a 3 million TOP grant to Tonga aimed to assist in Tonga's development.

Of this 3 million, 50,000 was utilized for the construction of a piggery at the agricultural demonstration farm (#37707). The remaining allocation is unknown. Construction of the farm was completed by December 5, 2010 (#37707).
