Exim Bank Commits Line of Credit with Bancomext In September 2004, the Export-Import Bank of China and Mexico's Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (also known as 'Bancomext') signed a pact to boost trade by establishing reciprocal lines of credit for purchases of capital goods and equipment.
The agreement was signed by the president of the Export-Import Bank of China, Yang Zilin, and the director general of Mexico's Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior, Hector Reyes.
The pact aims to boost exports of capital goods, equipment, natural resources and services by creating mutual credit lines. The transaction amount is unknown.
China and Mexico agree to credit lines to boost trade Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
