Grant Description

In May 2014, Sudan's Minister of Agriculture, Ibrahim Mahmud Hamid, revealed that the Chinese Government signed three different financing agreements for agricultural projects. One of these agreements provided a $36 million USD grant to the Sudan Ministry of Agriculture for unspecified projects.

Other agreements signed during the visit included a $14 million USD interest-free loan (see Record ID#36145) and a $74 million USD loan for the acquisition of agricultural production inputs (see Record ID#36146).
