Grant Description

On May 20th 2014, Seventeen agreements worth billions of shillings were signed as Chinese Premier Li Keqiang during his three day visit in Kenya.

One of the deals is that China would offer Kenya a grant of about 2 billion Kenyan Shilling, which was provided as a part of an ETCA.

It also offered an interest-free loan of Sh2 billion under the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements. ( Record ID#36052) Previously, Kenya had received Sh1 billion as interest-free loans and Sh1.3 billion as grants under the same category.
