Grant Description

On January 7, 2007, China and Botswana signed an agreement (exchange of notes) in which China committed to a grant of 2 million CNY for AIDS prevention and acquisition of AIDS-related general supplies.

On August 7, 2008, China officially handed over the medical equipment for AIDS prevention to the Government of Botswana, with a handover ceremony held where certificates were signed and exchanged.
