Grant Description

On 29 March 2005, an 8.7 magnitude earthquake hit Nias island, North Sumatra in Indonesia.

In response, on 27 April 2005, the Chinese Government donated relief goods worth $500,000 USD to the Government of Indonesia.

The goods included 500 gasoline power generators, 4 large-scale diesel power generators, 100 walkie-talkies, 3000 pieces of sheets, 3000 pieces of carpets, and other goods.
