Grant Description

Since 1977, Tianjin Province has been sending medical teams to Gabon. In 2008, the Chinese Government dispatched the 15th Chinese medical team to Gabon.

The team was stationed at the Sino-Gabonese Cooperation Hospital (Hôpital de la Coopération Sino-Gabonaise de Libreville) in the city of Libreville and the Sino-Gabonese Friendship Hospital (Hopital de L'amitie Sino Gabonaise) in the town of Franceville. The team completed its term of service between November 2008 and December 2010.

Chinese Medical Cooperation In Africa Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
