Grant Description

In August 2013, the Chinese government deployed their 17th medical team to Ethiopia to Tirunesh-Beijing Hospital, also known as the Ethio-China Friendship Hospital, in Addis Ababa.

Chinese medical teams working in Ethiopia have been sent to work at Tirunesh-Beijing hospital since its completion in 2012. A handover ceremony from the 17th to the 18th Chinese medical team to Ethiopia was held in July 2015.
