Grant Description

On April 28, 2010, Cameroonian President Paul Biya and the chairman of China's National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference Jia Qinglin signed an agreement in which China pledged to deliver 500 Lingyu buses to Kenya. China National Machinery Import Export Co. was the implementing contractor.

According to a press release from the contractor's website, in late September 2010, they had received the first advance payment from Cameroon, marking the start of this project. It is unclear when the buses were actually delivered.
