Grant Description

On October 28, 2004, the All-China Women's Federation (Chinese: 中华全国妇女联合会; ACWF) donated 15 personal computers, 76 sewing machines and a few copy machines to the Lao Women Union. The donated items were worth $36,144 USD.

Chinese Ambassador to Laos said at the presentation ceremony that the donated items would go to promoting the traditional Lao art of silk weaving amongst Lao women.
