Grant Description

On January 12th, 2011, China's Ministry of Commerce -- via China Development Bank (CDB) -- granted the Government of the Republic of Cameroon 50 million RMB through an Economic and Technical Agreement, or ETCA, (also known as Accord de coopération Economique et Techn. Ass. N°2011-03) meant to enhance economic and technical cooperation between the two countries.

This grant was not allocated for any specific projects or sectors at the time of signing; however, later that year, it was announced that it was partially used to finance the feasibility study for Yabassi Technical and Professional Agricultural High School (see linked Record ID#30166).

📋 Staff Comments

MOFCOM is the funder but the grant proceeds from MOFCOM were to be disbursed through a CDB account that was established with a host country bank.
