Grant Description

In early December, 2013, the Nigeria Geological Survey Agency (NGSA) announced that they were collaborating with the China Geological Survey to better Nigeria's practices in geo-data, mineral exploration, geo-statistics, geo-mapping and other similar areas. The China Geological Survey will be providing expertise and technical assistance in these areas.

According to the Director General of the NGSA, Alex Nwegbu, the goal is not only to improve the commercial development of mineral and metals sector in Nigeria, but to increase safety standards for the workers, as well.
