Grant Description
On August 15, 2002, China donated meteorological equipment to Lesotho that includes 10 sets of thermohygraphs, 10 sets of self-recording rain gauges, and 10 anemometers. The handing over ceremony was held at the National Convention Centre in Maseru.
The equipment will enhance the capacity of the Lesotho Meteorological Service to accurately measure rainfall, temperature, humidity and wind.
