CP Properties for the Higgs boson in the di-tau final state with the ATLAS detector at Run 3

Grant ID 2935484
Grant Description

Martina will be analysing ATLAS Run 3 data. She will contribute to the event reconstruction and quality.

As a service task Martina will work either on the efficiency of the new generalised vertex reconstruction or the impact of beamspot measurements on the luminosity.

While not directly usable in her analysis, vertexing is interesting for taus as they have lifetime and an impact parameter, which may affect the reconstruction efficiency. Martina will work on the data and vertex selection for Higgs to di-tau events in Run 3. With enough data collected she will use the TRexFitter framework to extract the CP parameter.

She will work in particular on the impact parameter and vertexing systematics for this analysis.
