This project will systematically uncover the types of uncertainty which most drastically impact our willingness to sustain shared resources.
Firstly, it shall assess the extent to which social and environmental uncertainty impact sustainability when managing a common-pool resource with conditional cooperators.
Secondly, it aims to discover the minimum amount of social or resource-relevant information required to promote sustainable practices when managing with conditional cooperators.
By understanding the factors that plague humanity's ability to cooperatively sustain vulnerable resources we can inform education, policy, and future research to improve sustainable outcomes for all.
