Grant Description

Aim:

The aim is to simplify & automate diagnosis, plus widen awareness of the effects on individual sufferers, of visual impairments in ageing population and thereby facilitate improved care and quality of life. Objectives: Develop VR/MT system to diagnose visual impairments in domestic setting Develop simulation tool the shows the word as seen by an individual according to their diagnosis.

Show simulation to carers, family, and friends to invoke empathetic actions.
