Grant Description

My proposed work is a rich, exploratory study of climate education as experienced by adolescent girls in India, and what could be possible if more youth centred creative elements are brought into the process of developing interdisciplinary climate resources.

It focuses on the potential for the inclusion of creative writing pedagogy in developing and building a climate centric curriculum such that girls see their voices and experiences reflected.

For this, i will engage with Plan to explore how educational development through resource development, leverage my past experience of working as a school teacher policy researcher, and writer in Delhi.

A core stand of the project will involve creative writing workshops with adolescent girls with children as main protagonists. This aligns with a current policy
