The proposed research aims to investigate the impact of digital gender disparities on the education of adolescent girls, analysing the intersection of family sociology, digital gender-based violence, and digital learning platform design. Drawing from Feminist Theories of Technology on the interplay of technology,
society, and gender, the study seeks to break disciplinary silos within existing literature on India's digital landscape, adopting an interdisciplinary approach. By combining Social Science and Computer Science, it aims to advance human-computer interaction research. Utilising a framework derived from the Capability
Approach and Feminist Technology Theory, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods, the research intends to uncover how societal norms and platform design shape girls' capabilities in digital learning. The hypothesis suggests that gender-responsive learning platforms, along with familial support,
may enhance girls' capability to access digital learning safely and influence their future aspirations. The anticipated outcomes include policy and practice recommendations for more inclusive platform design and advocating for safer and empowering online educational environments for girls.
