The Hyper-Kaimokande experiment is a large water Cherenkov experiment currently under construction in Japan.
In this PhD the candidate will help prepare the experiment for the first neutrino oscillation results expected before the end of the PhD in particular by the application of machine learning techniques to event reconstruction and classification and the development, installation and analysis of the Hyper-Kamiokade light injection system.
