Grant Description

This project will investigate the possible benefits engagement with CRM can play in the academic progress and wellbeing of pupils in secondary music education. The research will investigate the potential therapeutic uses of listening to, composing and performing CRM and how this impacts wellbeing. The study will explore the

perceptions of CRM and the affect it has on the wider school community in regard to behaviour and learning. It will longitudinally track the impact of listening to CRM on academic results, over a five-year span, to gain a deeper understanding of the role CRM can play in secondary education.
