The project will involve using world-leading accelerator laboratories to measure thermonuclear reaction rates important for nuclear processes that occurred in the first generation of stars.
Experimental work will be carried out at various national nuclear laboratories in Canada, the USA, and France. The results will then be combined with state-of-the-art hydrodynamic models to understand the impact on how elements were forged in stellar environments
