Leveraging cutting-edge graph representation algorithms, this PhD research seeks to introduce a pioneering quantification method tailored to adeptly capture the nuanced heterogeneity of urban compactness by comprehending the connectivity of both private and public spaces. I then intend to investigate how the new data output, measuring urban

compactness, is associated to significant socioeconomic outcomes.
