Grant Description

This project will use routinely collected health data to identify factors that may predict cardiovascular risk in women.

It will require a review of evidence to understand which indicators are important, and access to data that includes these variables over a period of time for a longitudinal study. Models will be created that predict cardiovascular risk in women.

These will be validated to assess performance overall and within specific subgroups such as those based on age, deprivation, and ethnicity.

The project will require skills in data handling and analysis, as well as understanding of epidemiological and statistical methods.
