Grant Description

I believe that hydrogen will be the key fuel of the future, whether that is for use in transport, power generation or energy storage.

The current fuel systems used in power generation rely heavily on fossil fuels, like natural gas refinery, which is somewhat efficient but contributes to the rising of levels CO2 in the atmosphere. In addition, most hydrogen (produced around 98-99%) currently comes from fossil fuels. I wish to hopefully create a catalyst that is as efficient or better at producing hydrogen through renewable methods.
