The current paradigm of training followed by inference is inherently limiting. Agents should learn continually, refining their knowledge through ongoing interactions with the world. However, the stability-plasticity dilemma hinders the development of agents to learn continuously without forgetting.
My research investigates how to create agents that can learn from a diverse range of tasks, retain knowledge acquired from prior concepts, and effectively transfer knowledge across domains.
