Grant Description

This multidisciplinary project combines fundamental and applied research and will build upon a close partnership with a prominent UK strawberry breeding company, utilising genetics, genomics, and computational biology. Berries flourish in temperate conditions.

However with ongoing changes in climate, rising temperatures are predicted to critically affect essential agronomic properties such as flower and fruit numbers.
