The primary goal of this project is to design advanced communication system algorithms that take into account the integration of both terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
The focus is on exploring the optimization of aircraft communication links by leveraging hybrid networks, including 5G, HF, VHF, satellite, ground-based, and unconventional bearers.
The optimization process will be based on considering flight dynamic parameters and manoeuvres, aiming to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of communication systems in aviation.
