This PhD project focuses on developing an understanding of the contribution of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to the co-production of futures in the context of cities and buildings.
The proposed PhD project addresses three sub-questions related to actors' imagined futures, the visualities of future visions created through BIM, and the impact of BIM on the materialities of the built environment.
Emphasising BIM as a socio-technical assemblage, the research integrates an Actor-Network Theory (ANT) approach combined with a mixed-methods research approach rooted in ethnographic and visual methods.
