Nowadays clinicians are confronted with the task of sifting through and assimilating vast volumes of medical data, while possessing minimal to no quantitative insights into an individual's daily life.
This scarcity of pertinent information, coupled with potential lapses in its acquisition, frequently culminates in the inability to avert preventable cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), untimely or erroneous diagnostic outcomes, generic rather than personalized treatment approaches, superfluous medical appointments and assessments, and substantial financial expenditures.
These have huge economical and societal implications.
A 2% reduction in the financial burden associated with CVDs could yield substantial annual savings of more than £682 million for the United Kingdom.
